About The Job 

We’re looking to add a talented iOS/Android Developer with a passion for exploring the development potential of the Flutter Framework while pushing the limits that mobile technology has to offer. That being said, you should be proficient in working with iOS/Android native applications, as well as Flutter applications from ideation through to production. We’re looking for somebody to initially join the team on a contract basis, who would then ideally transition to a permanent role within the team for the years to come.

This would be a chance for you to showcase your talent with exponential possibilities for growth on a long term basis including the possibility to earn an equity stake in our company. We’re currently recruiting for a Mobile Application Developer, Software Engineer, Embedded Hardware Engineer and an AI and Machine Learning Expert, so if you have any friends that might fit the bill, we’ll be more than happy for you to put them in contact.  

Challenges For The Next Months 

• Create an Official BETA application for both iOS and Android using the Flutter Development Framework
• Deploy Official BETA Application on Test Flight and Google Play Console
• Improving the customer experience by implementing new features, optimising user flow and increasing the technical performance
• Optimising the Applications based on A/B Tests, User Feedback and KPI Goals

What You Will Do

• Take iOS and Android Applications from ideation, creation, testing through to production
• Build a complete Official BETA Application
• Take the Official BETA Application to full production deployment on App Store and Google Play
• Work on the implementation of high-leverage features to optimise the technical architecture and scalability of applications  
• Draft architectural decisions together with the team and explore new technologies
• Supporting quality production code and contribute to the product direction by proposing innovative solutions, as well as understanding technical limitations
• Ensure high production reliability of our applications by proper tests, logging, alerting and documentation
• Collaborate with management, designers and other engineers to clarify and scope new and existing functionalities
• Have a direct impact on team processes by regular agile retrospectives   

Who You Are

• Self-motivated and willing to learn new things and take on new challenges
• Entrepreneurial and eager to thrive in a startup environment
• 5+ Years of experience in designing and building advanced application for the iOS and Android platforms
• 2+ Years of experience working with Flutter from ideation through to production
• Proficient in XCode and writing code in Swift and Objective-C
• Proficient in Android Studio and writing code in Kotlin
• Experience with External Providers and RESTful APIs
• You have a deep understanding of the basics and worked in a fast-changing environment
• Track record of delivering on a tight schedule
• You write well structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the codebase under control
• You have excellent analytics and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Super communicative and extremely thorough in reviewing / testing before delivery
• Located in the UK or can work at reasonable hours linked to the UK time zone
• A kind person, highly ethical and accepting of others
• Passionate about solving life-changing problems through the use of technology

Nice To Have 

• Experience in AI & Machine Learning with Tensor Flow and Keras
• Knowledge of Python and C++
• Experience in Jypyter Lab
• Experience in Google Code Labs
